Bill Van Buren is a producer and designer who worked at Valve.
Biography
Bill had previously worked at Starwave and Microsoft Corporation in various positions, before forming his media and design company SoundVision in 1997. During this time, Bill joined Valve as a producer to help ship Half-Life in February 1998. He enjoyed working on the game and his co-workers so much that he signed on with the company. He left the company in July 2012.[3][4]
Trivia
Bill's surname appears in Half-Life as an Easter egg on a Sector D sign office. His wife Donna was used as the reference model for Judith Mossman, though she is uncredited.
