Hey, I'm just wondering about some aspects of how an article should be set up. Since I haven't found a style guide yet, I'll post my questions here as they come:
- How is the "First appearance"-field in the Character infobox to be used? In Fast Headcrab it states the first appearance in both Half-Life 2 and Episode One (not Two, though..), and furthermore there is an Appearances-section explaining that the "first appearance" was in Half-Life 2. This is a rather confusing approach IMO. Should we decide upon one way to do this? Also, I tried another strategy in Classic Headcrab. --ligemeget 08:02, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
As I understand it, first appearance = the game and chapter in which the creature makes it's very first appearance. I feel this is the best way as listing it's first appearance in each game it appears in rapidly becomes cumbersome and it's a lot of work for comparatively little gain.
So this is how I'd fill in the Headcrab's first appearance field.
''[[Half-Life]]'', Chapter Three<br>[[Unforeseen Consequences]]
So it looks like this:
