The player can drink it by pressing the secondary attack, thus applying it to himself. It can also be thrown by the primary attack button, allowing the it to be used on a player who picks it up. The Mind Drink applies the Concentration status effect to the player who drinks or picks it up.
While under the effects of Concentration, the player's bullet spread is reduced by 50% and screen will shake 30% less at the time of taking damage (does not seem to affect shake when firing the Gatling Gun). The player also becomes immune to Poison, Paralysis, Paint and Marking status effects, but is still susceptible to Capture and Whiteout. This status effect's maximum duration time is 13 seconds.
