The Sacktick.
|
Transcript
|
- Sackticks are macro viruses, created by the same race that engineered the hoard. Sackticks are delivered by missle like pods and are generally used to soften up an enemy position before an all out hoard assault. Sackticks seek out organic hosts, on which they feed and use as food for the next generation of sacticks In this way, a small number of ticks dropped into a enemy stronghold can multiply and create a withering number of individuals.
- Mouthparts are able to splay open, as part of a threat display. In addition, the sacktick makes a clicking buzzing noise while bobbing it's body up and down against the surface it's attached to.
- sackticks bear hoard markings, denoting delivery vehicle and task group
- the sack is kept curled under the tick's body, in this it's empty state. Once fed the sac unfurls behind the legs and is dragged behind the tick.
