we don't need articles that say "see x", we just need to redirect searches for the other titles of something to the main article.

also, strider buster is just a fan name while magnusson device is the official name, so that should be changed.Capt Jim 06:41, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Personally, I'd say your revision, though somewhat flawed, was an improvement over what was already there; and Coming Second's revision was a further improvement and served to compact the information and make it more clear and concise. Whichever way I look at it the article is better for it. Nevertheless, I feel the "pointless" comment was a little unfair, CS. --MattyDienhoff 08:03, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Thermite?

The particle explosion looks kind of like a thermite bomb. this would explain how it can penetrate Strider armor without a huge explosion. Cue 10 people flaming me because everybody hates my ideas. Even when they make perfect sense.

Could be, I honestly don't know much about thermite.

Also, three things:

A: Please sign your posts in future by typing four tildes (~) after your message.

B: You really should sign up so the rest of us know you as something other than an IP, unless you don't want anyone to know who you are, for some reason.

I was still angry about the AR3 argument when I posted that. And I have a habit of posting anonymously so I can't be recognized outside of the wiki. Also: this Wikipedia article should show what thermite is. Given how many people I pissed off with my first few edits, it's actually warranted. Especially since I see a most of the regulars on FPSB pretty much every day, who I do NOT want figuring out that "those 2 really annoying guys" are the same guy.

Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness

I made a few edits to the Overview and Tactics section; the Overview used alot of verbose language that, while not entirely unwarranted, distracted from the information. Shadgrimgrvy 18:02, December 22, 2009 (UTC)

The name

Dr Magnusson says that it's not his chosen label but it pleases the personnel.
Perhaps he is actually telling the truth and it isn't his chosen name, as a cut (?) voice line shows:

"We call em Magnussons cause it doesn't take much to set em off." - ep_02.reb_complaint02

Personally, I laughed out loud when I read that. Some other goodies:

Dr. Magnuisance, I call him. That's why he sent me out here.

You think this is bad, you should spend a day working in Magnusson's nursery.

Sometimes I like to get Magnusson mad just for the fun of it. Course, it's not much of a challenge.

Quite clearly isn't very popular. But now I should be posting in the Dr Magnusson talk. Concentrate on the top bit :P
