Hey guys. I'm Baker78, and this is the first thing I'm doing on this wiki.

What problems are there with Source? Do you think there should have been the Super Definition Pack?

Also, what do you think would be adequate controls for Half-Life Source if it were on the 360?

Cheers.

Half-Life: Source was a proof of concept, and nothing more. Valve have better things to do than "improve" an already awesome game. All that the Source version does is improves the physics, and adds better lighting and water. What more do you want? If you want a Super High Definition version of Half-Life, just wait for Black Mesa. Bramblepath 10:35, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

You still didn't answer the latter question.

Oh and by the way,the Black Mesa mod requires a Steam game running on the Source engine, right?

Half-Life uses mainly the same controls as Half-Life 2, so it'd be fine to just use the same ones. Black Mesa can be run for any game that uses Source. Bramblepath 14:21, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

So it can be any Source, including non-Steam ones? If I could get Counter Strike Source (retail).........

It requires Steam, but if you bought the retail version, you can use it the key on the disc to verify your purchase and get it on Steam. Bramblepath 14:35, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

What's the advantage of using Steam Baker78 01:14, April 1, 2010 (UTC)
