Hmm...[edit]

Uhh due to the fact that he (or she) is in the game for about the first 4 levels plays quite a role like reviving Alyx, saving Gordon multiple times and finding him the the vehicle would it be a possibility to make him a main character for Episode Two? Please respond cause this has been bugging me for quite some time, thanks!--Mishulover69 02:40, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Is he invicible or does he just have extrmely large health?

Name[edit]

I think I just found a name for this guy. This is in some code concerning vital player allies (NPCs that are extra important, have a lot of health and will force the game to end once they die, such as Alyx and Barney). There's only one vort in ep2 that actually acts as a vital ally at any time, and that's this one. Pinsplash (talk) 15:17, 5 January 2019 (MSK)

Nice job! It says that the Lone Vort is sometimes vital and sometimes not, and the Victory Mine Vortigaunt can indeed die without the game ending in the map ep2_outland01, so it must be the same vort. The page will likely soon be moved to "Lone Vort". Pixeled sandvich.png18 (Commentary node transparent.png) 17:59, 5 January 2019 (MSK)
Round two? Seems like they had disagreements on the name. This code comment calls him "Vortigoth". Pinsplash (talk) 08:14, 13 September 2019 (MSK)
