Your edits in the Displacer article[edit]

Don't ever never change the name of a subject (in this case "Displacer" changed to "Displacer Cannon") without asking. This is not how we work. Klow 16:53, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

As far as I know, the official name of Displacer is Displacer Cannon since the older version engine of Half-Life Opposing Force said so. Whom should I ask to ? I'm newbie here, that's why, I still don't know how all of you work. DJ Silvershare 17:09, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

"The older version engine of Half-Life Opposing Force said so"? Interesting, what do you mean by that?... Klow 17:47, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

I have an older version of Half-Life along with Counter-Strike and its mod versions in year 2000 in my ancient computer (not this). If I'm not mistaken, it is version 1.0.0.5 I have 9 Modified version in that older version.

  1. Ricochet
  2. Counter-Strike
  3. Half-Life Deathmatch
  4. Opposing Force CTF
  5. Wanted
  6. Fire Arms
  7. Team Fortress Classic
  8. Absolute Redemption
  9. Deathmatch Classic

in the Control options (where the player can change or bind the command attached with the keyboard key), I saw all 24 Weapons from Opposing Force were categorized one by one. I Don't remember all, but I remember some exactly. Melee Weapons are Crowbar, Pipe Wrench and Knife Alien Weapons are Barnacle Grapple, Hivehand, Spore Launcher and Shock Roach. Explosives are Frag Grenade, Satchel Charges, Tripmine and RPG Rocket. Experimental Weapons are Tau Cannon, Gluon Gun and DISPLACER CANNON.

That's the official name of Displacer...

P.S: this game is still using the console in a half-screen. so it can be modified with cvar "scr_conspeed" to change the speed of the console while it's going down. The newer engine uses a box-like console, with a "Submit" button in it's bottom-right corner. DJ Silvershare 18:04, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

It's still there in the Steam version, and you are actually right. Never thought about looking there. Klow 19:23, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

M249[edit]

In the M249 page you said that the non-dynamic ammo belt has been fixed in the HD model.

Where can i find OP4 HD models?I can install the HD pack within OP4 installation, but it will only include original HL weapons, and the OP4 weapons are still the same ugly polygon chunks.--Oreo Biskuit!!Eleven 20:08, June 23, 2010 (UTC)
