Compressing images[edit]
There's no point uploading compressed images. It just reduces the quality of the image, which is pointless since the wiki automatically creates thumbnails for images and lower-res versions for use in pages. Bramblepath 16:24, 4 January 2012 (MSK)

- If you're optimising images (with PNGOUT or jpegtran or something) then that's fine, and please continue to do it. But there's no point uploading lower-quality versions. I didn't check your version earlier but it looks like it's just been optimised. Sorry about that, I've reverted to your version.
