I have The Orange Box for PC, and it runs about as smoothly as a crippled five-year-old with scissors.
For those of you who didn't get the joke, it runs very slowly, often freezing and/or crashing. I've done everything possible: updated my graphics drivers at least a dozen times, turned the resolution and graphics settings as low (and high) as they go, and still HL2, the Episodes, TF2, and Portal run slowly, to the point of being nearly unplayable.
I could use some help here! (One more thing: It seems to run even slower when I'm near water, which is why Episode 2 is completely impossible to play.)

uugh. Sorry, couldn't help the Starcraft joke. Anywho, yes, my mouthless friend is corect. more ram, better video cards, Garry's mod is labor-intensive for hardwear. Your best bet would be to take it into circuit city or some such, and ask them to "Pimp it out." specifically for "Half-Life". If that doesn't work, then you're boned man.

- A: This probably isn't the best place to get tech support, there are far more active forums. Try the Steam forums or HL2.net.
