Real gun[edit]
Earlier, I added information about the real-life gun this may have been based on. Now it's all gone, every bit. What did I do wrong? SirCBofBClan 23:27, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
- Too much speculation already in the weapon articles. Ask the user who reverted your edits for more information. And please add a title to your comments. Klow 16:57, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
Since this applies, I thought I might point out this gun [1] which I realized looked just like the Alyx's gun, it doesn't necessarily need to be added to the article, but just in case somebody wants a real-life alternative or something I thought I might as well add it to the talk page. --Silverfang22 15:39, June 1, 2011 (UTC)
G18 + Fallout 1, 2, 3, and all the rest 10mm?[edit]
It kinda looks/seems like a mix between a real life G18, with the full auto and extended magazine, and the 10mm pistol from the Fallout series, with the barrel and grip. (The fallout 10mm has a standard rough grip, this one seems to have a pearl grip) Perhaps a Fallout reference? Idunno. Just thought I'd point out the similarities --WisestWiseGuy101 16:05, June 27, 2011 (UTC)
Request[edit]
I request that it be added, that lore-wise, it is a modified M1911 as shown in Half Life Alyx, however with added modifications that increase clip size yet again and a few other things. Addust (talk) 18:32, 6 July 2020 (MSK)
Upgrade images[edit]
Can somebody who owns Half-Life: Alyx add images of the pistol's upgrades? I know that there's an image of all upgrades but images of the individual upgrades (and possible combinations) would help as well. Sausagea1000 (talk) 16:35, 11 July 2021 (MSK)
11mm 43 bullets[edit]
So, digging around i found that 11mm bullets do exist, they're called .45 ACP but, they are 11.48mm, just 5 inches more taller than the bullets from Alyx.
So safe to say, the pistol uses .45 ACP but smaller. Mhrtxn (talk) 18:24, 30 November 2023 (MSK)
