Boxes

Ahhh... This article reminds me of the time I was in a roomful of boxes with the combat knife out. I ran around the corner just to find a black ops guy in my face, so i promptly slashed him to death.

Rambo III

Would it be appropriate to add that this knife bears a striking similarity to the Rambo III Bowie knife? (Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if the devs took inspiration from that knife when designing this one.) NoriMori (ノリモリ) 01:40, 2 September 2025 (MSK)

The designs are indeed noticeably similar, and given the distinct nature of the Rambo III knife along with the cultural ubiquity of the Rambo films, the resemblance on Gearbox's part probably isn't a coincidence. This warrants a mention in the article, but I'll note that I cannot find an explicit declaration from the developers stating a connection, so it should be mentioned here as an observation about the likely inspiration, not a categorical fact.
