I hate 10 or 13 year olds who come in and start talking like they're smart when they can't seem to spell a single word correctly -Scruff

The crossbow does not fire a sabot (pronounced saa-bow), it fires a piece of rebar super-heated by a closed DC circuit. A sabot is used in firearms (which a crossbow is not) to fire smaller rounds (or those requiring a precise positioning) out of a large caliber weapon. AceBlade258 (talk) 01:45, 30 October 2013 (GMT)

12 V battery[edit]

Are you kidding about 12V battery? Where did this nonsence came from? 12V battery is not even nearly enough to heat steel rebar up to being red-hot. I guess, some Combine-made power elemant is used instead — Unsigned comment by 217.170.91.227

The battery on the bottom is the right size for one. No comment on how plausible it is. Oh, and LEARN TO SPELL. — Unsigned comment by 71.245.76.111

Pining with Crossbow[edit]

Should it be noted that the player is able to pin enimies to a wall or floor using this weapon? Im not sure if it is relavent.... — Unsigned comment by 69.3.248.2

How about the bolt being "un-pullable" by the gravity gun once pinned to something (haven't tried the dark energy one though). GordonGMan 16:26, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
