Sound track locations

I'm not a registered user, but I've played through the game carefully searching for appearances of each track, and perhaps someone with the appropriate permissions can confirm and add the following information:

Alien Shock

Seems to be the Gargantuan's theme

• Locations
  • Power Up: First seeing the gargantuan
  • Surface Tension: Encountering the gargantuan in the parking garage

Sirens in the Distance

• Location
  • On a Rail: Descending into the tunnels at the beginning of the chapter

Scared Confusion Short

Sort of associated with Black Ops

• Locations
  • Apprehension: Seeing guard get sniped by Black Ops
  • Lambda Core: Entering the room with the Black Ops
  • End Game: Declining the G-Man's offer, you are sent to a fight you have no chance of winning

Steam in the Pipes

• Location
  • Lambda Core: Opening the portal to Xen

Dimensionless Deepness

• Location
  • Xen: The butterfly-activated teleporter room leading to Gonarch

Traveling Through Limbo

• Location
  • Nihilanth: Fighting the Nihilanth

Threatening Short

Only used in Xen?

• Locations
  • Xen: Entering Xen
  • Xen: The diabolical portal leading to the Nihilanth

Dark Piano Short

• Locations
  • Questionable Ethics: First seeing an Alien Grunt (trapped in a glass enclosure)
  • Surface Tension: Core of the missile storage room

Sharp Fear Short

• Location
  • Power Up: Killing the gargantuan

I know this is a bad place to ask but how do I get the music to play? I have an old disc based version and I make sure the CD is always in but the music doesn't play whether or not I have the option to play CD music turned on or off.--81.129.0.108 23:33, January 31, 2010 (UTC)

I had the same problem with my copy but i'm not sure how to get it to work. It worked on very rare occasions but in most cases, nothing. It did that with Blue Shift and OP4 too. All I know is that the music works fine in HL: Source the cake is a lie 05:20, February 1, 2010 (UTC)DiceRoller

Trivial

This one belongs more to the Trivia section. While watching Asobi ni Ikuyo OVA, I hear a short of "Space Ocean" being played for a brief moment during one scene in the anime. I thought it's a stretch until I compare the OST and that scene side by side, which was uncannily similar. I tried to record that part but no avail. --ZEROGRAVITY-A02 21:35, 5 January 2012 (MSK)
