Beta Chopper[edit]

Any idea what kind of helicopter the one from the beta is supposed to be? From what I can find, it looks like a Kamov Ka-20 to 32. That's all I can figure out. 69.122.209.65 09:39, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Support?[edit]

This is NOT a support vehicle. It's used for hunting down and pursuing people and/or vehicles. --Fireman V2

... Dolphin?[edit]

Dolphin tails go up-and-down not back and forth. The statement itself is pretty pointless.--72.130.140.90 03:36, January 7, 2010 (UTC)

Should this be added?[edit]

I noticed it is possible to skip the fight. Open the gate and just keep going, raid the building for health and shields, open the dam, and jump off of it, you will have compleated this part of the game without fighting the chopper (this will be very difficult due to it constantly shooting at you, but the mines are easy to doge) So, I was just wondering if this info should be included in the article (it will sometimes crash your game). — Unsigned comment by 67.197.62.244

Please sign your comments. If there was an appearances section, then this could be mentioned. I'll get around to fixing up this article sometime. Bramblepath 15:06, December 19, 2010 (UTC)

"Electrical Drone"[edit]

When placing an npc_helicopter in Hammer, you can check a flag marked "Electrical drone". It has some interesting effects:

  • The helicopter model is replaced by a helicopter mine (when attacked the standard helicopter gibs still fall off though)
  • It isn't actively hostile (doesn't attack the player or NPCs)
  • However, Going near it deals 5 points of damage to player and NPCs
  • Every metal prop in a certain radius gets a cool "electrocution" effect, which doesn't do any damage

Otherwise it act just like a standard heli, it has rotorwash, same health and rotor noise. Is this worth mentioning in the article somewhere? Pete (talk) 19:26, 1 January 2017 (GMT)
