Origin of Razon Trains[edit]

Is there any evidence suggesting that these trains are actually Combine-made? I always just assumed they were futuristic trains made by humans and now taken over and used by the Combine for their own purposes. In any case, I think that explanation is more believable, if there's no evidence supporting either side.--ImWithFreeman 06:33, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

They're made of the same black metal as every other piece of combine machinery. It also states so in the book "raising the bar"
There's that, and there's also the fact that the Combine rarely use human technology in its original form. They take a look at existing human technology and build something based on it using their own design and materials. The weapons are the only real exceptions to this. Anyway, the design of the Razor Train is so consistent with other Combine architecture that I don't see any reason to believe it's anything but a Combine design. --MattyDienhoff 05:37, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
Plus, have you EVER seen a train like this?--Fireman V2 23:48, December 17, 2009 (UTC)
Do you think that Scanners, Citadel pods, Citadel itself and another metal Combine objects made by humans? SiPlus 09:30, February 21, 2010 (UTC)

"Goldeneye" Train[edit]

Hey, does anyone else think that the early Razor train looks kinda similar to the missile train from the James Bond movie "Goldeneye"? Here's a pic: https://cinetrains.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/goldeneye2.jpg Just a thought. Pete (talk) 20:00, 29 January 2015 (GMT)
