Renaming[edit]
What do you think of renaming this to White Forest Base, White Forest Facility or something similar? The base itself has no official name, obviously, but White Forest is the name of the region, I think the resistance facility based here should have a more specific name. --MattyDienhoff 08:13, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

I added spoiler marks. Come on an unsuspecting person who just started playing episode 2 suddenly reads that history section finishs and..... it's wholly disapointing so I have now helped many a person you can thank me later :) 128hoodmario 19:10, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
North[edit]
Just about everyone says North. Northerly progress makes up most of the episode. Alyx: Magnusson is at an old missile base up north... Vortigaunt: They move north with great purpose...
Look here: http://planethalflife.gamespy.com/fms/Image.php?id=11406 Your progress is in a single direction that moves away from the portal storm in the skybox. The train ride out of the city was likewise a straight line. Its position versus the White Forest peak provides reference. By comparing this direction to the city I was able to assign cardinal directions to parts of the citadel in that article. North is concrete, but below is my fanon interpretation of City 17's geography.

- Ok, I yield. I checked to subtitle file, and it indeeds mentions North many times. I'm too used to incorrect edits, sorry. ;-) Klow 17:19, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Lost reference?[edit]
I know that there's a picture of the Lost reference in the article, but does anyone have a link to a video or anything that shows the Lost episode where they reference Half-Life? - Anonymous, 12:46, 4 October 2009 (CST)
- Episode? There were a TON of HL references in lost. --Fireman V2 03:14, December 26, 2009 (UTC)
