Fun fact[edit]

Fun fact; you can beat everything up to the teleporter before Xen with just the pistol. Darkman 4 03:11, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

'Automatic' mode[edit]

The 17 does not have an automatic mode, but thanks to MW2, we know know that is the 18c. All glock models (as far as I know) have an internal firing pin that can move into a hair trigger after the first trigger pull, allowing that you don't let the trigger all the way back. I've done it before. Funnest thing you'll do all week. Big McLargeHuge 00:18, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

As far as I know, the Baretta cannot, but I think that is made up for by the fact that it can fire fast. At least according to hollywood. Big McLargeHuge 00:20, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

Reload glitch[edit]

I'm not a gun expert, but the reload glitch is caused by the change of the glock in an update, not the gun itself. The second Half-Life patch (1.0.0.8) removed the ability to load an extra bullet into the glock while still having a full magazine of 17 bullets, which meant you could have 18 bullets loaded in total. After the update, the code still attempts to load the last 18th bullet, but fails because of altered max ammo. Silikone 04:43, December 27, 2010 (UTC)

Half-Life Source[edit]

I noticed in Half-life: Source the glock has 18 rounds. Is this true for anyone else, and is it worth mentioning? --"Your toast has been BURNED, and no amount of scraping shall remove the black parts!" -Pvt Michael J Caboose, on real fear.- Turbogruntman117 20:32, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah it is true for everyone. Silikone 21:58, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
