Getting too big[edit]
Hmm, I think you're right, Sentry Turret is getting too big for it's boots, especially with the addition of the very different Portal and Team Fortress 2 equivalents. I'll get to work filling this page out.

the predecessor of the Sentry Turret of the Portal series" is wrong[edit]
the combine sentry gun is not a predecessor of the aperture science sentry turret because cave Johnson said stuff about it before he died in the 1980's and the black mesa incident takes place in 20xx (presumed to be 2003) and the combine invasion happened around 10 to 20 years after the black mesa incident so it would not be possible for the combine sentry gun be the predecessor of the aperture science sentry turret and it would make more sense for the combine sentry gun to be based on the aperture science sentry turret or be different entirely.
- It's about the sentry in the gameplay/design sense, not the lore sense. That's why the same sentence says it's a successor of Half-Life's sentry. Not because the Combine took Black Mesa's sentries and modified them, but because Half-Life 2 came out after Half-Life, with this enemy filling a very similar role.
