Relevance[edit]

Although the article indeed still needs a lot of work, it will stay because it was a redlink in the Aperture template, because Portal 2 will soon have detailed articles for each of its locations, with a Succession template at the bottom of each location article, as it is for the other games. Sadly however the uploaded images will be removed, because 1. PNG is not suitable for large images (think about users with a crappy connexion; 2. Because it does not feature the Information template; 3. Because it has subtitles, HUD and the portal gun all over it, which prevents from properly focusing on the main subject; 4. They haven't even been added to the article, so what's the point... Klow 10:21, May 23, 2011 (UTC)

Coincidence?[edit]

"There is an overgrown potato battery experiment near the end. The name of the daughter who made it is "Chell," although this is likely a coincidence."

Can I delete the last bit stating that this is likely a coincidence? I find that extremely unlikely. Just how many girls living in America, let alone who would end up having some affiliation with Aperture Science, would be named "Chell"? Yes, them being the same person doesn't fit with all the explicitly stated details of Portal's backstory, but none of the in-game details conflict with that theory. And besides, when have a few continuity errors stopped Valve from endorsing a particular interpretation — especially when it's the interpretation that makes the most practical sense? 24.150.32.65 18:14, October 10, 2011 (UTC)

Age[edit]

I know not much is known on the age of the kids at Aperture's Bring Your Daughter to Work Day, but it is important to know for the storyline. Half-Life takes place in 200x which if you believe in the calender theory it was most likely 2003 or 2004, it was said that Portal takes place some time into 2010. So, if they are ten years old, it would make sense for the storyline that Chell would be around 17 or 18 in Portal, although it would still be unknown what she is in Portal 2. I think it would make sense that she was around ten.
