Official name

These robots are being called "Frankenturrets" in the official developer comments. Just take a look on the first speech balloon in the 8th chapter. - ZuTheSkunk 20:46, April 22, 2011 (UTC)

The entity name is monster_box. Maybe that could at least go into the trivia.

When GLaDOS attempts to assault Wheatley with a paradox, the franken-cubes recoil into themselves as well as start to smoke. This implies the cubes have some level of intelligence, moreso then Wheately at least. 74.72.245.86 05:39, April 24, 2011 (UTC)

Images

Am I mistaken, or is the purple pattern visible on the current images of Frankenturret an indication of a missing texture? Is it visible in-game? - ZuTheSkunk 20:58, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

The black and purple square pattern is the indication of a missing or broken texture. Whatever texture's missing from the images, it's also missing from the defective turret images. Osumesu21 03:15, May 3, 2011 (UTC)

Anyone notice this?

Anyone notice that on the Frankenturrets, there appears to be an arrow and unreadable words 'written' on the Cube and pointing at the Wheatley Laboratories logo?

I know its not very relevant, but I found it interesting. ^__^
