Didn’t one character in l4d2 whenever they acquire a crowbar they say “man I feel like Gordon freeman!”. Shouldn’t this be included?

A longer explanation: the article talks about events and content in media - at the moment, all of them not being Valve's own games at that - that are meant to draw attention and incite participating in various deals (pre-orders, timed events, new releases). L4D2 easter egg doesn't do that: the phrase isn't meant to stimulate anyone to buy or play the game (for that, it's too optional/situational/not highlighted in any way, nor is it exclusive to any player), it's not front and center of any promotions, it wasn't tied to any particular event. So all in all, it doesn't count as a crossover or promotion and therefore, doesn't need to be in the article. Cvoxalury (talk) 15:13, 2 February 2026 (UTC)
