FireMan is relevant[edit]
Why do people mark an article as needing better grammar and spelling, rather thatn just fixing it themselves? --FireMan 23:56, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Ragdoll image[edit]
Does anyone have an image of a ragdoll rocket sentry? Malekron 01:38, September 17, 2009 (UTC)
Personality Core[edit]
The similarities between the rocket sentry, to me, seem to be more of a design similarity, rather than technology. Both the eye and the round, streamlined shape are common characteristics of Aperture technology. It is always possible that Valve recycled part of the personality core for the rocket sentry, or vice-versa, of course. --Fireman V2 00:16, March 13, 2010 (UTC)
- It think this is more than a design similarity. A Personality Core is some sort of software / independent AI, and what operates the Rocket Sentry may be a very simple version of it. Klow 15:41, March 16, 2010 (UTC)
Where is the info on the rockets these fire?[edit]
You can fire them through console, straight from your face, by setting sv_cheats to a non-0 value, then entering fire_rocket_projectile. Firing two before leaving the console will make them both explode when you leave, and shattering the glass with a rocket at the first rocket sentry will activate the sentry. Attempting to fire a rocket in levels without a rocket sentry will result in an error. NickNackGus 02:00, June 21, 2011 (UTC)
I would like to add that when you meet the Rocket Sentry in the office in Portal 1, you can run this in Portal 2 as well. The people at Valve were going to add it, but broke it all together when cutting it from Portal 2.
There are bugs. Someone's made a video concerning it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YT6_uYdza7Q and another one; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V17v4HtwC48 .
I think we should add this. Lewleworange 11:28, November 30, 2011 (UTC)
