Rosenburg?[edit]

Rosenburg? Shouldn't it be 'Rosenberg'?

I do believe it'd be 'hearable' if there was a 'u' at the end. I also think he's refered to as 'Rosenberg' in HL:Decay, but I can't be certain (I played the PC 'port'). 85.221.140.237 09:46, 12 June 2009 (UTC))

Well, in the BS files the texture for his face is named "Rosenberg", same for his Decay model and sound folder (and I think the names are the original). His sound folder too. I've been thinking about it in the past, and now that I checked I think you're right, so it'll be rectified. Klow 11:36, 12 June 2009 (UTC)

Early lines file location[edit]

I was going to add a note on where the early lines done by Harry S. Robins were located in Blue Shift's files, but I cannot find them for the life of me. Are they even in the Steam version? (Or Blue Shift for that matter) Better yet, are these lines even real at all? -Gulliblepikmin 11:52, 29 February 2024 (MSK)

I believe what you're looking for is in bshift\sound\vo\scientist folder. For example, sci_tele_xen1.wav is Robins talking about the same things as are bshift\sound\rosenberg\ro_tele_xen03b, 04, 05, 06. (it's a very long piece of audio, so it partly overlaps with Rosenberg's lines and partly not, and you'll have to listen through it all to find them all). Another is scientist\sci_tele_work1; in the second half it talks about same things (the Lambda team, Freeman, "let those fools fight a battle they can't win") as rosenberg\ro_to_teleport. And yes, I have these in my Steam version. Cvoxalury (talk) 14:44, 29 February 2024 (MSK)
Well no wonder I couldn't find what I was looking for. My Blue Shift installation just straight up doesn't have a "bshift\sound\vo" folder at all for some reason. Assuming I'm not the only one whose Blue Shift copy is like this, it might be best to link to something that shows off the sound files. -Gulliblepikmin 02:55, 1 March 2024 (MSK)
I'm very sorry, that's my typo. It's just bshift\sound\scientist for the former. Goldsource games didn't use "\vo", Source ones started it and I mistyped that. Cvoxalury (talk) 04:52, 1 March 2024 (MSK)
