Walking Nest

So is there any way I can still add my beautiful animated .gif of the walking Nest (File:SnarkNestWalk.gif) in the article? Pete (talk) 15:21, 1 April 2016 (BST)

An animated gif for this purpose results in too much quality degradation while still producing a very high file size. A properly compressed webm video can achieve the same result with a smoother frame rate and equal, if not lower, file size. Marphy (talk) 15:34, 1 April 2016 (BST)

Okay, I uploaded File:SnarkNestWalk.webm, but it creates an error producing the thumbnail when I try to put it in the article. What did I mess up this time? Pete (talk) 20:13, 1 January 2017 (GMT)
