Adding a bigger section on Hardware

Since Valve's interest in hardware grew since the Index, and it reaches outside VR too, and they consider it a part of their identity/role in their self-description, it would be good to have a dedicated section that can both include what's already written and document their early history with making hardware. That early history is slipping away little by little, and for example the new Steam Machine is obscuring searches on the original Steam Machine, or there's both old and new Steam Controllers. I'd like to do it but it'd take me some more time researching/collecting the sources and exact chronology. If someone has any suggestions or good sources, feel free to say so here.
