You'll sadly have to remember that this is a videogame. Any technology is possible. Besides, the Combine Elite are probably further modified than the normal Soldiers. — Unsigned comment by 80.213.162.122

"Stabilization Delegate" Name?[edit]
Is there any direct evidence that "Stabilization Delegate" is a name unique to the Elites? It is more like a general reference to the Nova Prospekt troops, judging from the context of the voice line. In my opinion, "Central transport Stabilization Team" is a better name, as it solely refers to the Elites guarding the Depot Teleport. Requiem (talk) 00:09, 14 December 2023 (MSK)
- This term was added to the Combine Soldier page as well. I don't think there's enough information establishing what "Stabilization delegate" could mean in this context, making it speculation based on one interpretation of a term that is only used twice in the series. For all we know "delegate" could be a title referring only to specific soldiers, like the way Nova Prospekt is the only area featuring prominent "Leader" soldiers directing subordinates over the radio chatter heard across the beach bunkers and parts of the prison.
- "Central transport Stabilization team" is said before the player enters the teleport chamber and fights prison guards, so that term sounds more like a general reference to Depot troops. An obvious alternative with a more solid basis would be "Stabilization team" as said by both the Overwatch announcer and Combine Soldiers, similarly to Metro Cops being called "Protection team". Combine Elites don't really have distinct designations that we know of, aside from a cut Episode One line with Alyx referring to an "Elite guard".
