How to survive the nuke in Crossfire // Half-Life[edit]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd0aNbU1Kpo I add this to discussion because Marphy probably will remove it for being an "inappropriate addition" (even though it's telling you how to survive the nuke in Crossfire, you actually see gods with the tau cannon do this). The only way I can actually spread any information is through discussions, history edits, and contributions or my userpage.

The wiki typically doesn't describe tactics or tricks. It's just not very relevant when the goal is to provide an overview of the subject, its history, what it is. Also, when the admin of the wiki tells you not to add these things, take a hint, "spreading information through discussions" etc isn't some tricky workaround you can use, not when the info itself is irrelevant. If you want to 'spread' this information you can use a blog or something, the wiki has nothing to do with it. Cvoxalury (talk) 09:35, 30 August 2026 (UTC)
Bugs, glitches, and other unintended exploits and behavior are not often covered here on the wiki unless notable in some fashion. A threshold is necessary as articles would otherwise quickly fill with insignificant or largely irrelevant trivia that eclipses the main body of text. Crossfire has quite a few bugs for a deathmatch map, and they mostly relate to the airstrike: avoiding the airstrike's damage trigger (multiple ways to achieve this), breaking the button, breaking the locking doors, etc. Documenting all of these many bugs in their various forms is outside the scope of this map article. WehKings, I appreciate your commitment to documenting every little thing possible about and/or tangentially related to this franchise, but given your edit history and past altercations with staff and other users, I would like to clarify that it is not exactly the wiki's mission. The Combine OverWiki strives to be a curated general-purpose encyclopedia of notable official information regarding the Half-Life and Portal universe. It is not within its scope to keep track of every single piece of trivia, speculation, miscellaneous tactics or technical details such as model polygon counts. If you insist on keeping note of everything one could possibly write about the HL franchise, I would recommend starting a personal blog or website, or using social media such as a dedicated YouTube channel or similar, where the criteria for notability would be entirely up to you. 86.75.115.1 05:26, 31 August 2026 (UTC)
