Reassembly?[edit]

Yes, you have wonderful pictures of the machines that disassemble the co-op bots. However, the bots are only built on-screen once, upon either player playing co-op for the first time. All other times, the bots drop from tubes, with no visual of the bots being re-built. NickNackGus 00:47, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

You do realise that "All other times" they are rebuilt in the same reassembly machine, as Atlas and P-body travel via the Vital apparatus vent and pneumatic diversity vent system. No? Ok then, question answered. 46.7.30.41 01:50, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

I do not understand where you are going with that. The pictures on this page are of the disassembler, and the reassembler is not shown after you begin co-op unless your partner is just starting co-op. Any labels claiming the disassembler is used to build the bots is therefore incorrect, unless you show me videos of the bots being built there. The main picture of this page was a screen-shot from the disassemblers in the hub, leading to one of the co-op tests. NickNackGus 02:21, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

The reassembly machine was featured in the co-op intro video, it appears the same as the disassemblers, and is placed way above testing courses. Therefore, all "disassemblers" and "reassemblers" are the same. McFlurryMax 05:33, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Assembling cubes[edit]

In Portal, there is a behind the scenes area (when GLaDOS asks "Didn't we have some fun, though?") where Weighted Storage Cubes are built. Two plates press together, separate, and a cube drops into the diversity vents. This may have changed by Portal 2, like everything else, to make things more Chell-resistant. Oh wow, I can't believe I forgot about that. I'll remove that part in the trivia. You could write this on the Storage Cube article if you want. McFlurryMax 00:59, July 30, 2011 (UTC)
