Magnusson's satellite?[edit]

I don't think he launches another satellite, just the rocket/missile tunes in to the Black Mesa satellite directly. It certainly doesn't look like a satellite delivery rocket. After all, it was modeled off a missile, not a satellite delivery rocket. — PPortal symbol.svgrtaler (about | complain) 06:30, 21 June 2016 (BST)

Alyx Vance: He's been hoping for the day when he could launch a satellite, to tap into the old array they set up at Black Mesa. --Barnz (talk) 13:51, 21 June 2016 (BST)
That's an interesting quote. I searched the CC file for "satellite" and most of it is referring to an array at Black Mesa, and the rocket Gordon launches in the first HL completed that array. But yes, lookgin through the quotes I see a lot of evidence they are launching their own. "Satellite payload powered and ready..." "Kleiner, are you going to sync up the satellite? Or should I postpone the launch to make time for a family reunion?" "Now as soon as you get here with the signature data, we'll encode the satellite and get the damn thing into orbit.", among others.
So, I guess they do launch a satellite. Learn something every day :) — PPortal symbol.svgrtaler (about | complain) 06:29, 22 June 2016 (BST)
