Naming convention[edit]
In keeping with the naming convention established with articles like Crossbow (HL1) and Crossbow (HL2), should we rename this RPG (HL1)? I've never seen this weapon referred to as "SMAW" in-game, so this name is likely to produce a bit of confusion. And, as always, which real weapon this is based on is debatable. Merge with HL2 version of RPG?[edit]
Shouldn't the article be combined with the Rocket-Propelled Grenade Launcher (Half-Life 2) article, just like the .357 Magnum article? --Chipsnapper (talk) 19:03, 20 October 2013 (BST)
- Yes, many of the HL1 and HL2 weapon articles should be merged. However, I'm still in the process of moving the remaining weapon articles to their correct names (MP5 and MP7 to SMG, SPAS-12 to Shotgun), so I haven't begun any merges yet which I planned to be a part of a bigger weapon articles overhaul. If you wish to help out in this endeavor, you're more than welcome to write up a draft for the merged article. Marphy (talk) 05:48, 21 October 2013 (BST)
