Stuff[edit]
About the "did you know..." things. How can I add new facts? --FireMan 01:39, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Inside one of the lots of '<choose>' tags, add a new fact surrounded by <option> tags, like so: <option>fact</option>. It should be easy enough to figure out, just follow the example set by the existing text. --MattyDienhoff «talk» 01:51, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Great, except.. it's locked. it says I can't edit it. --FireMan 03:19, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oh! That's Klow's doing. I'll unprotect it for the moment so you can edit it. --MattyDienhoff «talk» 03:38, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. Oh, and, for some reason the apc link i added doesn't want to work. --FireMan 04:31, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- It's all sorted. What's the source for the APC statement? When do the Resistance ever use APCs? --MattyDienhoff «talk» 05:06, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, nevermind: I just saw the statement in Armoured Personnel Carrier. Well, all I can say is that's false. I've played through that part of the game well over a dozen times and I can say with complete confidence that no APC is seen moving or shooting at anything at all, let alone attacking Striders. If you saw one there, you're either mistaken or you have a mod of some kind installed. The only APC seen outside the Nexus in the official game is an abandoned, overturned one that does nothing. --MattyDienhoff «talk» 05:19, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
- That's interesting, because I saw about 3 APC's, and one of them fired a few rockets and then stopped. When I looked at a nearby strider, i saw it get hit, but I must have been mistaken. Oh, well. --FireMan 22:52, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Locked?[edit]
Why is the did you know page permanently locked? It's not as if there are lots of vandals on the combine overwiki. JgcxCub 20:44, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
