2001[edit]

The earliest paperposter series featuring the earliest known mapped Citadel, the Consul, the trenchcoat Metrocop, the Cremator and the Razor Train. Numbers 01 to 05 are the main posters sharing the same theme and aesthetics, have a clean and dirty version, and their names were kept in the final game. "paperposter007a" has a different feeling, an unknown Razor Train locomotive, and is only used in revisions of arcade and c17_04.

"paperposter001a", old version. Found in the c17_04_23 envmap.
"paperposter002a", old version. Barely visible in the concept art area found in c17_old07. In maps such as c17_old07, proto_c17inner01, or arcade_04, it is used as half parts that perfectly fit the text.
"paperposter003a", old version. Found in the envmaps c17_04_23 and proto_citadel_consul.
"paperposter004a".
"paperposter004b", dirty version.
"paperposter005b", old dirty version. Found in the concept art area found in c17_old07, and barely visible in the envmap c17_04_23.
"paperposter006a" is the "Mariposa" label and Beau Geste poster.

2001-2002[edit]

Those don't belong to the paperposter series, but the billboard one, and belong to the Eastern European era. Unknown for the welcome poster though.

"billboard002a". signbillboard002a matches since the texture is not displayed centered, but the signbillboard series has its own #1. Only used in testroom_signage.
"billboard002b". Missing.
Has the corresponding texture proportions (256x512) and is used in 3 pieces of Antonov concept art, but no trace of it in the WC map pack, so no known texture name. Interestingly, the full version is only available in the uncorrected proof of Raising the Bar, the final version having Lenin cropped. Censorship?...

2002-2004[edit]

Includes the retail version of the paperposter series. At the time of E3 2002, paperposter004 was still used concurrently with the retail posters despite being unrelated to that era, until it was removed from the final game. Two clean and dirty variants found in the leak were removed from the final game.
