Turret Lullaby is a 5-page comic illustrating one of the intended purposes of Aperture's Sentry Turret, and explains how the singing Turrets appearing in Portal 2 came into existence.
Characters[edit]
- Two unidentified Aperture employees
- Test Baby (robot)
- Prowler (robot)
Plot[edit]
The comic follows the story of the two Aperture employees prototyping the Turret for use in defence for home invasions, and their struggle to keep the test baby pacified through the turret's gunfire.
After a turret mobile design results in both the death of the prowler and the baby, the scientists try "Project Rock-A-Bye", where after dispatching the intruder, the turret emites a lullaby to try and calm the baby back to sleep. The employees deem this adequate enough, and ship it.
