Biography[edit]
Background[edit]
Olga is a female citizen and an active member of the Resistance, residing in City 17. Unlike the standard attire of other citizens, which consists of a plain blue denim jacket and jeans with two white identity stripes, Olga wears darker, faded blue denim coveralls with a solid orange stripe on the outer side of each sleeve and pant leg. Aside from her Eastern European accent, her background before the events at the Vault remains unknown.
Appearances[edit]
Half-Life: Alyx[edit]
While Alyx Vance is heading back to her safehouse, she meets Olga who's waiting for her outside a laundry room window. Alyx informs Olga of Eli and Russell's successful shipment raid of a Combine mini-reactor when a Civil Protection sweep begins, leading Olga to wonder if something went wrong in the raid. Olga then flees through the streets while Alyx continues to the rooftops.
Behind the scenes[edit]
Olga wears a number of pins on her outfit, with various brands and the name tag "Hahn". A separate folder for a character named "hahn
" exists in the game files, though it only contains textures for blue eyes and long black hair of which Olga has neither. The hair texture is actually used by the unnamed scientist.
