In 2022, concept art for an unannounced Half-Life project featuring Alyx Vance and Dog was released by David McGreavy, a private collector of Valve memorabillia.[1] The four known pieces feature the duo in an unknown heavily mountainous and rocky location.

Aside from having been cancelled, little is known about this title, including when it was in development.

Overview[edit]

In an interview with DidYouKnowGaming, McGreavy said that, according to the Valve employees he acquired the concept art from, this project was intended to be a VR spin-off of the Half-Life series. It would have featured the duo of Alyx and Dog travelling across the "outer regions of the Half-Life universe", only entering urban areas later in the game. The project did not progress very far in development, likely never exiting the concept phase.[2]
