List of in-game messages

Several messages are displayed on-screen throughout the Half-Life series during certain sequences, namely at the introductions, endings, and game over scenarios. Beginning with the original Half-Life and its expansions, these messages are written in the form of reports suggested to be by the G-Man or his employers evaluating the "subjects" featured in the games. However, starting with Half-Life 2: Episode One, the plot revolves around the G-Man losing his control of Gordon following the interference of the Vortigaunts, hence the messages following this point in the storyline are given from their perspective.
