The Holden Company Processing Plant (Russian "Компания Холден обрабатывающий завод", "Kompaniya Kholden obrabatyvayushchiy zavod"), also simply known as the Processing Plant, is a Quarantine Zone location featured in the the sixth chapter of Half-Life: Alyx, Arms Race.
Overview[edit]
The processing plant is a large brick building with a tower and three chimneys located between the Northern Star and the Golden Lion Distillery. The building is infested by a large flock of Zombies, and the Combine has also converted parts of it into a makeshift power plant to transmit energy to a Vault substation,[1] installing equipments such as computers, large cables and Vortigaunt pods inside. From here, the Combine cables further extend to the distillery. Nearby are many buildings under construction and deserted tenement blocks. The plant is part of the Industrial Zone, an area shared with the distillery with its dedicated City 17 Metro station, connected to line 5 and 6.
At the processing plant, Alyx Vance must disarm tripmines in a storage room filled with explosive jerricans and barrels. It is also where she first encountered the Combine Suppressor.

Trivia[edit]
The words painted on the plant's wall, "Обрабатывающий завод" ("processing plant"), has a spelling mistake. Its proper form should be "перерабатывающий завод".
