Sector A, referred to as Sector A Training Facility,[1] is one of the seven main Sectors of the Black Mesa Research Facility.[1] It is connected to the Green Line of the Black Mesa Transit System.[1]

Area 4 Personnel Dormitories[edit]
As seen in the Security Shift Schedule given to Barney Calhoun, Sector A includes the Area 4 Personnel Dormitories. Two security guards started their Red (from 09:00 to 22:00) and Orange (from 21:00 to 10:00) Shifts in the Area 4 Personnel Dormitories on May 15, 200-.
Training Facility[edit]
The Black Mesa Training Facility, also known as the Hazard Course, is a recurring location featured in Half-Life and its expansions. It is used for training Black Mesa personnel in their duties. It also serves as an in-game training tutorial for the games.
