Alésia Toyoko Glidewell (first name also spelled "Alesia") (born December 8, 1978[1]) is an American video game actress, voice actress, model and director who served as the base for Chell's face and body.[2]
Biography[edit]
Glidewell is of Brazilian and Japanese descent and speaks fluent Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. In 2008 she relocated from Seattle to Los Angeles where she currently resides.[2] Glidewell performed the motion capture animations of Alma Wade, for F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.[2] She has also voiced several video game characters in such games as Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Star Fox: Assault, Super Smash Bros. Brawl,[1] and Left 4 Dead, for which she voiced Zoey's screams.[3]
Work for the Portal series[edit]
Glidewell performed the motion capture animations for Chell in Portal and Portal 2, and gave her her likeness in both games. She also performed as Chell in the Lego Dimensions trailer.
