Oliver Jonathan "Olly" Moss is an English graphic designer working at Valve. Best known for his reimagining of movie posters, he designed posters and other art for Half-Life: Alyx.
Biography[edit]
Prior to joining Valve, Moss co-founded the studio Campo Santo where he was art director for Firewatch. When Campo Santo was acquired by Valve in April 2018, he joined the team in August of the same year, along with coworker Claire Hummel who had joined in May.
For Half-Life: Alyx, Moss designed the Vortigaunt propaganda posters, the matchbox labels, some of the Central Zoo posters, the Golden Lion vodka bottle label, Isaac Kleiner's book From Here to There in Under a Second, and the album artwork for the game's soundtrack.[2][3][4] He also created the concept for the game's primary cover art, which was later drawn by Chris Welch based on a sketch by Moss.[5]
