Lambda Bunker is a map in the multiplayer mode of Half-Life as well as Half-Life Deathmatch: Source. It was included with both games on release.

Overview[edit]

Based on the underground bunker from "Forget About Freeman!" (map c3a1) in Half-Life.

Behind the scenes[edit]

  • The name of the map is hldm5 in the leaked Half-Life: Source map pack (hl-wc-maps). This may be the original title of the map.
  • Due to the fact that the map lambda_bunker was made from c3a1, there is actually a trigger_changelevel as well as the corresponding landmark entities allowing one to warp to the map c3a1b like in the original c3a1[1]. This is the only instance among the deathmatch maps.
